Bible pages burning

You hear stories in the news about the extreme persecution Christian believers are facing in other parts of the world. You’ve heard about the animosity, the rumors of war, and how the gospel is forbidden . . . often punishable by death.

But there is another side to the story—amidst all this violence, the Spirit of God is moving among underground believers and filling them with a boldness like I have never seen before!

We are seeing a surge in the number of Bible translation requests coming in from communities and language groups asking to have God’s Word in their heart language. They want to do the work of translating Scripture, in spite of the risks to their lives—they just need the tools and training.

These local believers, pastors, and church leaders are all-in because they know their communities will be transformed by the power of the Word of God. They will stop at nothing short of having God’s Word in their heart language, and their passion is contagious.

To God be the glory!

But something’s still missing . . .

Every time I take this exciting news of a new translation request to my team, my technology manager reminds me that every Bible translation workshop needs technology—computer tablets with Bible translation software. Otherwise the work will be slow and tedious as translators work by hand, and the translated Scriptures will be vulnerable to destruction by hostile authorities, with no computer backup.

The Need for Tablets is Unending

The bottom line is that we have to have more computer tablets for national Bible translators—and you can help provide a tablet today. Each one costs just $300 and will equip a Bible translator to begin translating God’s Word for his people.

We need to have more tablets on hand, ready to deploy to national Bible translators committed to giving their lives for God’s Word!

Computer tablets are an essential Bible translation tool. They give national translators access to a vast library of resources to ensure accuracy, and they connect them with other translators for collaboration.

In places hostile to faith, a tablet allows national translators to continue their work discreetly and securely, and provides a digital backup in case their work is discovered or destroyed.

The need for tablets is unending. Because the opportunity for Bible translation workshops keeps rising, the need for tablets is growing as well. And to keep up with the pace, I see the writing on the wall . . . we will need HUNDREDS more tablets just over the next few months.

And this is where you can help. You can help keep the momentum going by providing tablets for national Bible translators and Bible translation workshops today!

You are on the front lines, playing a big part in what God is doing as His Word goes forth into communities and hearts, changing lives for eternity!

Crying out for God's Word These tablets will transform lives Give Now!
